Which Sensio Product Won at the BIFIS Awards 2026?

We are thrilled to announce that Affinity, our magnetic track lighting solution, has just won Installer-Friendly Product of the Year at the BIFIS Awards. Voted for by installers, we are proud to have this award mark the second win for Affinity this year. Affinity is our patented magnetic track system created to simplify custom lighting. Stick the track to your surface then customise with interchangeable LEDs and controls. Requiring only one power cable, run multiple LEDs without the need to chase each one.

What Will Disappear From the Kitchen in the Next 20 Years?

Our prediction: the oven will be the first to go, replaced by air fryer technology for quick cooking on the go. Over on the Howdens stand, we were invited to discuss the future of kitchens and how they will adapt to changing lifestyles and trends in the coming years. From accessibility to new styles and appliances, it was great to discuss these topics with those in the kitchen industry. A question that garnered a lot of attention was what will be disappearing from the kitchen over the next ten to twenty years. One panellist suggested the fridge as ordering food online is now more accessible than ever. With plenty of options to purchase fresh produce and household essentials, they estimated it would become the norm to order your ingredients each day to make your meal.

What Is the HAUS at InstallerSHOW 26?

Constructed at the heart of the InstallerSHOW, the HAUS is a two-storey, low-carbon build centred around eco-friendly materials and practical design. We were thrilled to showcase our LED solutions across the HAUS, from bathrooms and boot rooms to staircases and meeting areas.

Practicality came from Astro Pro spotlights illuminating countertops, ambience from Flex with Polar X lighting up acoustic panelled walls and smart control from Titan+ Wireless Sensors, lighting cupboards and staircases exactly when needed. Sustainability sits at the heart of HAUS, and it’s central to how we design too. Our 24V systems run cool, helping extend the lifespan of our lighting, while eco-friendly touches like our rechargeable lithium-ion battery mirror Lustro offers illumination without the need for constant power.

Which Sensio Products Were Most Popular on the Stand?

We showed a huge range of products, like our new Duo cut-free strips, designed to provide two light temperatures within a single strip to save you time and stocking space. Supplied complete with our new detachable JB4 Connectors, which were developed to eliminate the need for large cable holes, Duo was a huge success on the stand for offering more choice with a complicating installation.

Check out our other latest developments:

PixelPixel Pro

Alongside our strips, visitors were excited to see our new Pixel flexible LED sheets, designed to provide uniform lighting for worktops, architectural features and backlit signage. With free-cut technology to ensure the perfect fit and the ability to connect multiple panels for seamless illumination, choose from Pixel for natural white lighting or Pixel Pro to get the full range of lighting temperatures from warm to cool white. Compatible with Sensio controls for on/off, colour changing and brightness adjustment, you can transform typically ordinary areas to be conversation-starting elements.

Vertex Shelf Profile

We also showcased a choice of profiles, including Vertex, our slim shelf light designed with easy installation in mind. Unlike traditional shelf lights, Vertex simply sits on the back of your shelf with no need to trim it short, making for a cleaner and faster fit. Supplied with pre-installed Razor X, it is a brilliant solution for kitchen cabinetry, wardrobes and media units, bringing light to the spaces that need it most.
