Why we made Lustro
We kept hearing the same two things. Homeowners wanted an illuminated mirror without the wiring, but the only battery mirrors available ran on AA batteries that needed replacing again and again.
Fitters told us the other half. The bathroom is tiled, the job is nearly done, and the customer asks for an illuminated mirror. There is no wiring in the wall.
So we designed our own answer. Lustro runs on Evo+, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery developed by Sensio and protected by a granted patent. Charge it with a USB-C cable, like a phone, and hang it on a simple wall bracket. No mains wiring, no electrician, no AA batteries.

Comment fonctionne un miroir de salle de bain rechargeable ?

Can I fit an illuminated mirror after the bathroom is tiled?

How long does a battery mirror last on one charge?
A Lustro mirror lasts up to 3 months on a single charge, tested at 1 hour of use a day. A full charge takes 4 to 6 hours by USB-C.

Are battery operated bathroom mirrors safe?
Yes. Our Lustro mirrors and Volta cabinet are IP44 rated for use in the bathroom, and because they run from a battery there is no mains supply at the mirror.
Can you replace the battery?
Yes. The Evo+ lithium-ion battery is available as an additional or replacement pack.

Do I need AA batteries for a battery mirror?
No. Our battery mirror range is built around rechargeable lithium-ion. Every mirror in this range runs on our patented Evo+ battery, which you recharge by USB-C instead of replacing AA batteries, with no mains wiring needed.
